On your mark, get set, ART!
Producer Swizz Beatz and the Dean collection is offering budding artists a chance of a lifetime. The art connoisseur (and the originator of the #artlife hashtag) has always publicly advocated in the arts and using his platform to shed a light on emerging artists.
Swizz Beatz, born Kasseem Dean, took to his Instagram on Wednesday (May 9) to reveal that he is reaching out to budding artists worldwide and encouraging all to sign up in hopes of receiving $5,000 USD. The money will be used towards putting on their very own art show. With free reign to produce whatever type of artwork they wish to share, the chosen participants will also be able to keep all proceeds from commissioned work. The Dean Collection and its “The Dean Collection St(Art)ups” initiative was founded by Swizz Beatz and wife singer Alicia Keys. The organization “is a contemporary, family art collection focused on the support of living artists.”
