Yesterday (May 21) Cardi B released her third music video ‘Be Careful‘ from her multi-platinum and Gold album, ‘Invasion of Privacy‘. In the music video, directed by Jora Frantzis, Cardi B is shown she marrying a man (Not Offset) in the desert before burying him in the same desert.
“It was one of the hardest videos I ever did because it was in the desert in the middle of nowhere, and, bitch, I was so hot — my pregnant motherfucking ass,” Cardi said in an Instagram video regarding the filming experience. “I never sweat, and I was sweatin’ that day. Like my underarms was sweating, under my titties. I never get under-titty sweat, but that day…for sure.”
After the song was first released many speculated the warning message behind the song was directed at Cardi’s fiancé Offset. Offset was caught cheating on Cardi after their engagement in October; however, the Bronx rapper addressed the infidelity in an interview with Cosmopolitan, stating, “I know I look good. I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented. I know I could get any man I want—any basketball player, football player. But I want to work out my shit with my man, and I don’t got to explain why. I’m not your property. This is my life … I’m going to take my time, and I’m going to decide on my decision.”
The couple is expecting their first child together in June.
