As Ye continues to fight for his right to expression and his pending divorce from his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, online folks attempt to stop his bag.

A random Kete (Kardashian and Pete Davidson) fan account on Instagram decided to create a petition to have Ye removed from the Coachella lineup after the news of Ye’s 24 hours suspension on the social media app became publicly known.

“We have watched Kanye harass, manipulate and hurt Kim, Pete, and others for over a year now,” the petition reads. “No one seems to want to stand up to him, and the ones that do, he puts under fire as well.”

“Most recently, he has been threatening actual bodily harm on others. This is ridiculous that he is allowed to freely do this,” the petition stated. “Coachella (along with other brand names that are still working with him) should be ashamed of themselves and should not be giving him any more of a platform.”

The petition has accumulated almost 14,000 signatures in support of having him removed from the 2-weekend music festival. Most recently, fans of rapper Travis Scott also attempted to reach the festival’s promoters by creating a petition to have Scott put back on the lineup. Scott was removed from the festival after his annual festival, Astroworld, resulted in the deaths of none concertgoers. The fast-growing petition garnered over 63,000 signatures supporting Scott returning to Coachella in 2023. However, Change later took down the petition after the website accused the petition creators of using fraudulent signatures.

As this article has been written, Kanye is still one of the festival’s headliners and is expected to perform both weekends.

In other Ye-related news, the “Donda 2” rapper has been removed from performing at the 2022 Grammys.

According to The Blast, Ye was removed from the Grammys because of what insiders are calling his “concerning online behavior.” However, musicians and friends are supporting the rapper.

The website reports that sources close to Ye revealed that he received a call confirming the removal of his appearance from the prestigious awards show yesterday.

According to industry insiders, the show has taken this position due to what is considered concerning online behavior.

Kanye’s IG ban didn’t help the situation either.

Noah Trevor is scheduled to host the Grammys. Noah and Ye exchanged words earlier this week after Noah accused the rapper of being abusive towards Kardashian about her relationship with Davidson. Kanye responded to Noah, calling him a “coon,” leading to his suspension on Instagram.

The awards show is set to be aired April 3, 8:00 PM EDT on CBS.
