As Q2 approaches us, setting the right goals and mindset is crucial for the remaining of the year. Of course, aligning yourself with goals is easier said than done, but seeing it on paper will help formulate a plan to accomplish them. 

Writing down your goals can open you to both consciousness and ideas from the subconscious part of the mind. By clarifying your thoughts and emotions towards the plan, you will quickly get in touch with your inner world.

2. Minor Goals: Minor goals are a list of tasks to achieve your primary goals. When you are clear on what your goal is, to begin with, the minor goals will become easy to follow. Most people have plans and desires but no way of getting them out of their heads. The little goals will help you strategize on the proper methods to get what you want.

3. Schedule: Scheduling your goal is extremely important, especially if you are prone to procrastination. When we believe that we have plenty of time to do something, sometimes it never gets done. However, with all of your minor goals set with deadlines, you will have a good idea of the estimated completion time.

In conclusion, journaling your goals can function as a personal coach in the new year. As personal coaches, they hold you accountable for your actions and push you harder than you would yourself. Although a journal can’t bring outside resources as a person could, it helps facilitate your desires and skills into goals. It will also help identify what you want and be in your life.
