Singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor Lenny Kravitz have announced a collaboration with Modern Vice designer Jordan Adoni and Church Boutique.

On Sunday, Kravitz wore the custom one-of-a-kind boots while performing with H.E.R. and Travis Barker at the 2022 Grammys Awards.

With the help of brands and designers, the seasoned musician elevated his style to new heights. He wore the black and silver knee-high heeled boots with a square-toed heel on the red carpet and onstage.

According to Page Six, Kravitz met up with Jordan Adoni three weeks before the Grammys with ideas for his footwear.

“He talked about a beautiful, new, unique square-toe shape that has never been done on a heel like this. He had very specific ideas on the ‘slouchiness’ of the boot and the materials we used,” Adoni said.

“The real magic is in the heel shapes, of which he had two: the red carpet version, which was slenderer, and the performance pair seen during the Grammys, which was thicker for more support while performing.”

Along with his successful music career, Lenny Kravitz’s fashion has helped him become the icon he is, pushing the envelope with his fashion choices by breaking social norms. However, David Bowie, Prince, and Harry Styles are also performers who have worn heels in the past.

Modern Vice is a direct-to-consumer footwear brand that launched in 2012.

With Modern Vice, shoes are easier to buy by eliminating intermediaries and inventory, cutting costs, and overstocking. Every product from Modern Vice is made of genuine leather and materials imported from Italy and the United States, handcrafted in NYC and Italy by highly skilled shoemakers. As a result, modern Vice has many celebrity fans, including Questlove, Swizz Beats, Lauryn Hill, Rita Ora, etc.

In addition to the boots, Kravitz has appeared in videos directed by Jordan Adoni & Zexi Qi of Snakk studios; filmed at famed Brooklyn venue House Of Yes.
