On Thursday, June 23, rapper Kendrick Lamar performed at the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection show in Paris, France, where he paid tribute to the late Virgil Abloh.

The fashion show streamed live, showcasing upcoming pieces from the iconic fashion house’s forthcoming collection. Lamar performed in front of the audience.

Following a brief introduction accompanied by an orchestra, Lamar performed several tracks from his latest album, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers,” including “Savior,” “Rich Spirit,” “Count Me Out,” and “N95,” concluding with a tribute to Abloh.

Abloh, the artistic director for Louis Vuitton, passed away last November after a private battle with cancer.

Ultimately, he concluded his tribute by repeating Virgil’s name, “Long live Virgil!”
